After 10 weeks living on a secluded island in the Yukon River, the Sundog Carvers returned to family and friends. On August 19th the carvers put their 10-metre-long boat into the river and rowed home to a cheering crowd. Carved from one solid log the craft is one of just two of its kind carved in the Yukon in the last century. Likely only a handful have ever been made by carvers working this far inland.
